Ocean Shores is a small community located on the north side of the mouth of Grays Harbor. This location is the North Jetty of Grays Harbor and is a favorite spot for wave watchers.

Ocean Shores is a small community located on the north side of the mouth of Grays Harbor. These coordinates are for the North Jetty of Grays Harbor, a favorite spot for wave watchers.
It's a great spot to see sea lions, sea otters, and sea birds. Look out just beyond where the waves start to break and there is often a few sea lions out there. This is also one of the rare spots for good surfing in Washington State so you will also spy a few surfers out there.
Be careful though. It is often windy here and the wet rocks of the jetty can be slick. If it is stormy I suggest watching from the beach or parking area, rather than atop the jetty rocks. Several people have drowned in the wild waves and currents here so, as always when enjoying the unpredictable Pacific Ocean, never turn your back on the water.
