This triangulation station is located about 4 miles north of Valley Falls, Oregon along Ore Hwy 31, 0.1 miles north of Chewaucan River. The cap is set in a 12 inch round concrete post about 30 feet east of abandoned section of highway centerline. The triangulation station was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1948 and was stamped CHEWAUCAN.
