Sandy Springs Georgia, a new city in Georgia was officially incorporated in December of 2005. Located just north of Atlanta in Fulton county.

The flag depicts some of the beautiful scenery in the city including rolling wooded hills and the meandering Chattahoochee river.

City hall and offices located at 7840 Roswell Road Bldg. 500.
