As you walk the gravel path that follows the perimeter of John Lee Pratt Memorial Park, you will happen upon what looks like a giant trellis with its growth of vines and vegetation.* Two pieces of a steel bridge are stacked and slowly being claimed by nature at the far side of the park.

Little information could be found about where the bridge came from or when, but it appears it was stored here. Continental Bridge of Alexandria, MN was the manufacturer and the vehicle load limit was 5 tons.

* The bridge still sits in Pratt Park but the sections have been moved and the coordinates have been changed to the new location. It has also been snatched from the clutches of Mother Nature and no longer resembles a giant planter box. See gallery for updated pictures.
