Artist Statement: I began this piece by writing out whatever I was experiencing at the time. After cutting the writing from steel, I began piecing the text together. During construction, statements made during the writing and cutting process became jumbled and nonsense in some areas but very clear in others. That led me to the title, "Tower of Babel".
