After an afternoon of hiking in one of the area state parks, we like to visit the Illinois River Winery to see if they have anything new.
The listed coordinates are for the Tasting Room on the west side of IL Route 178. The winery is just across the street, behind the car wash.
While the grown-ups are tasting inside, the children can play in the wine garden behind the Tasting Room.
Free tours are available on Saturday afternoons at 1,2,3 and 4 pm. Starting in the Tasting Room to start the 20 minute tour. Children are welcome.
