Tank display is on the grounds of the 278th Armored Cav. in Huntingdon, Tennessee.
The M-60 tank was the main battle tank for the US Army and US Marine Corps in the late 1960's into the 1970's. The US Army adopted the M-1 Abrams in the early 1980's and replaced the M-60. The US Marines used the M-60 into the 1990's and in the 1991 Persian Gulf War.
Location restrictions:
On display on the grounds of a local National Guard company. There is no fence and one can drive up to the tank.
