Entrance (parking) fees (per vehicle) are $3 weekdays and $4 on weekends. Limos and Buses cost more. There is limited free parking on a side street (Vernon Rd) at N41 47.024 W72 35.011. There is parking a few hundred yards away from these gardens. Neaby there is an Oriental Garden in Wickham park, more Chinese than Japanese - it also worthy of a stroll through.
