In the mid-19th century, San Antonio was the last outpost on El Camino Real before the Mesilla Valley to the south.
Today it is known as the birthplace of Conrad Hilton and the site of the first Hilton Hotel, located in his family's adobe house near the train station.
We often head east here from our trips to New Mexico.
We moved to Missouri Across this route and wish I would have had a camera like I do today.
It was just one of them once in a lifetime sunsets across the Camino Real.
We thought we would list these on our journey through to our 30 year class reunion in Deming.
