This girl has an ambiguous base which defeats the viewers desire to classify it. It could be a mermaid rising from the waves. It could be a girl running with her long dress trailing behind. It could also be a girl kneeling on the ground with her dress gathered around her. Perhaps you will see something else. Whatever you choose, it is a fascinating piece of art. There were no plaques telling the title of this statue, and no Artists name. Web searches also came up with nothing.
