Rippon tor is the highest tor in the area with commanding 360 degree views, Teignmouth can be seen to the South East, Hay Tor to the East, Buckland Beacon to the South West and Princetown to the West with much much more to be seen. It is a mighty Granite tor and has three large Bronze Age burial cairns on it's summit plus a cut Granite cross 30 Yards to the North of the summit cairn laying flat. To the south are several cut mill stones (If you can find them). Rippon tor also has a trig pillar on the summit.
