This sculpture symbolizes the shield of the city of Osuna, two rampant bears chained to a tower.

The meaning of bears is like talking weapons since the name "Osuna" comes from "Urso" which means bear in Latin. The Osuna shield is traditionally the oldest in Spain since it would have been given by the Emperor Augustus in the 1st century BC.
