"The low, square fountain basin invites the little ones to play safely, while the waterfall and the spray gushing from the steel sculpture offer passersby resting on benches an acoustic and visual break from the sounds of the city. The striking, yet light and delicate fountain sculpture, a spatial figuration, is forged from hollow square steel. Thus, two slender bundles of bent elements hold a narrow surface over which a wall of water pours into the fountain basin. An elaborate, finely tuned fountain technique controls the choreography of the water play composed by the artist. The fountain lives from the contrasting properties of the materials: Here the solid but light-looking steel, there the water, sometimes light in its impression, sometimes staged as a force of nature (waterfall)."
