The Santa Barbara Train station is located downtown Santa Barbara. The station itself is a pleasant looking buildling in the Spanish architecture that is commonly found in the area. Reciently renovated in 2000, this station is very clean.

From this station, a wide variety of destinations are just a rail away.

• Coast Starlight - This line will take you as far south as Los Angeles and as far north as Seattle, Washington.
• Pacific Surfliner - This line will take you as far south as San Diego and as far north as Paso Robles.

While these lines serve the west coast, it is just a short trip to Los Angeles where you can transfer to another train that can deliver you to many other locations across the United States.
