[FR] Elle a été franchie, symboliquement, le 29 décembre 1999, à minuit, par Maxime CAMUZAT, Maire de Saint Germain du Puy, la Municipalité, le Conseil Municipal et plusieurs centaines de Germinoises et Germinois, rassemblée en l'instant solennel du du passage à l'an 2000.

Cette porte biaise, symbolisant un pas entre les deux millénaires, a été conque et réalisée, bénévolement, par des compagnons du Tour de France de la Fédération

Compagnonnique des métiers du Bâtiment (F.C.M.B), dans le cadre de cours professionnels.

La partie gauche en pierre, couverte en plomb, rappelle le millénaire achevé, la partie droite en béton, couverte en cuivre, annonce le nouveau millénaire.

[EN] It was crossed, symbolically, on December 29, 1999, at midnight, by Maxime CAMUZAT, Mayor of Saint Germain du Puy, the Municipality, the City Council and several hundreds of Germinoises and Germinois, gathered in the solemn moment of the passage to the year 2000.

This door biaise, symbolizing a step between the two millenniums, was conceived and realized, voluntarily, by companions of the Tour de France of the Federation

Compagnonnique des métiers du Bâtiment (F.C.M.B), within the framework of professional courses.

The left part in stone, covered in lead, recalls the completed millennium, the right part in concrete, covered in copper, announces the new millennium.
