Greeting the visitors entering the Santa Barbara Train Station is a Porcelain Tile painting on a bench called "I Took a Trip on a Train". It reminds us of the attraction that we felt as children on seeing and eventually getting to go on a train ride.

This bench was created as part of the Visual Art in Public Places Project that was sponsored by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Barbara. So, rest your feet, watch the cars drive by, and then go for a train ride!
