The open-air car park is on the roof of the Liverpool Plaza shopping centre, with its uphill entry, on the right-hand side, from 'One-Way' Northumberland Street (heading north). There you get the first hour and a half free, then gradual price increases from there:

This was the only ALDI store that I have found that has its own active Security Officer, so with the sign at the entrance to the Plaza of No Cameras, or Video/Photography, then CAUTION is required on getting the usual waymarking proof of your visit - a photo at the site!
