The Bar Harbor skatepark has approximately 3,300 square feet of concrete surface area with plenty of ramps and obstacles. It is located next to a baseball field across from the Mount Desert Island YMCA.

A display of engraved fundraiser pavers sits in front of the skatepark. One of the pavers read: "Special Thanks For The Tony Hawk Foundation".

The Tony Hawk Foundation now The Skatepark Project, is a skateboarding organization that helps communities build public skate parks for youth in underserved communities. It has built over 600 skateparks worldwide. (visit link)
