An interesting rustic sundial in front of the Charlemont Federated Church is built of two rough cut stones. The stone at the base is shaped like a J and has a carving of a sunburst near the bottom. The circular table stone contains the dial and is balanced on the base.
The bronze sundial is affixed to a pedestal carved out of the table stone. Surrounding the pedestal is a carved sunburst design. The dial has Arabic numbers representing the morning hours on the left and afternoon hours on the right.
