Pousada Pica Pau offers somewhat spartan lodge-style accommodations in beautiful Intervalis State Park, right by the trailhead to the APE cache. The rooms are furnished with small, twin-sized beds and not much else. There is a large central area with a fine fireplace, and a dining room / kitchen / refrigerator downstairs. The laundry facilities are outside and consist of a water spigot and a washboard. There is no cell service here at all, but the office at the park entrance does have a land line for emergencies.
