NL In Zwolle op de Diezerstraat 88 zag ik een mooie versierde winkeldeur. De deur is versierd met beren die lekker aan het snacken zijn. Met het motto: “Snackcorner Hollandia, Beregoed”. Het is waarschijnlijk gemaakt door de eigenaren van Snackbar Hollandia om de winkel op te leuken als hij gesloten is. Geen echte garage-deur maar wel hetzelfde type deur.

Sinds 1962 een echt Zwols familiebedrijf. Toen Hollandia haar deuren opende was het geen snackbar maar een automatiek. Het was toendertijd gebruikelijk om een gehaktbal uit de muur te halen, het patatje was een bijzaak. Werd er dan geen patat verkocht? Zeker wel! Om een frietje te bestellen moest je aanbellen en ging er een luik open waar je de bestelling kon plaatsen. Tegenwoordig hebben wij een uitgebreid aanbod bestaand uit snacks, broodjes, verse friet en ijs. Wij serveren het hele jaar door softijs en milkshakes (18 smaken!).

ENG In Zwolle at the Diezerstraat 88 I saw a beautifully decorated shop door. The door is decorated with bears snacking. With the motto: “Snackcorner Hollandia, Beregoed”. It was probably made by the owners of Snackbar Hollandia to brighten up the shop when it is closed. Not a real garage door, but the same type of door.

Since 1962 a real Zwolle family business. When Hollandia opened its doors it was not a snack bar but an automatic. At that time it was customary to remove a meatball from the wall, the fries were an afterthought. Were there no fries for sale? Certainly! To order fries you had to ring the bell and a hatch opened where you could place the order. Today we have an extensive range of snacks, sandwiches, fresh fries and ice cream. We serve ice cream and milkshakes all year round (18 flavours!).
