EN: This fountain is located on the Artelweg east of Riehen in a cow pasture. The fence of the pasture is carried out behind the fountain, so that it can be reached from the road.
The oval trough made of limestone is about two meters wide. Behind it stands a column made of sandstone, which is quite weathered. On the front it has a weathered relief that is not really recognizable, maybe a shell.
Above it is a small metal plaque, but no longer legible letters.
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht am Artelweg östlich von Riehen auf einer Kuhweide. Der Zaun der Weide ist hinter dem Brunnen durchgeführt, so dass man ihn von der Strasse aus erreichen kann.
Der ovale Trog aus Kalkstein ist rund zwei Meter breit. Dahinter steht eine Brunnensäule aus Sandstein, die ziemlich verwittert ist. An der Vorderseite hat sie ein verwittertes Relief, das ist nicht wirklich erkennen kann, vielleich eine Muschel.
Darüber ist ein kleines Metallschild angebracht, das aber keine lesbaren Buchstaben mehr enthält.
