In 2000, Lindsborg decided to cast the traditional Dala shape in large fiberglass forms. Local people and folks with Lindsborg connections sponsor each Wild Dala. Each is unconventionally decorated by one on the towns many local artists.

Artist Shirley Malm. As word spread of Lindsborg’s unusual herd, the town sponsored Ambassadala, a roaming horse to carry greetings regionally and nationally. Artist Shirley Malm even gave Ambassadala an official medallion to certify his ambassadorial status. Outdoors 10am - 6pm, Monday – Saturday
