Painted sedilia and piscina in the chancel of St Andrew's church, Hingham.
The Sedilia and Piscina on the south side of the chancel must have once been a sight of splendour. Traces of the medieval paintwork are still present. Sadly it suffered severe damage by the Puritans, where they removed all the fine canopy work and its former grandeur. The alcove of the piscina is now filled with plaster.
