"Three-figure grouping consisting of two white male and one Native-American figure. All wear buckskin clothing and hold various weapons and tools such as axes, a bow, a hatchet and a musket. The central figure wears a wide-brimmed hat and a beard. On the front of the base is a buffalo head which spouts water into a round basin."

It is an impressive sculpture standing at 10 feet. There are so many pieces on the Capitol grounds that many get lost in the mix but this one is placed squarely on the steps leading to the great building. It has been there a long time but still looks great. There are those who would like it removed due to the depiction of the Native American.
