History tells that there has been cannons when the Russian tried to attack Båstad in 1788.
Today cannons are probably found in the bay or being left in port when ships tried to leave the shallow harbor, they were found in the church tower in 1926 by the famous Ludvig Nobel who made the cannon lavetter and placed them on the wall.
