I det østlige Jylland, Danmark, er der nogle stenstrande med rimelige muligheder for opdagelse. Kalkstenslag fra den nedre Danien (en del af Palæogenperioden) er blotlagt i disse klipper. Du kan parkere foran ud for Fornaes Fyr, derfra er der kort gåtur til stranden.
Fund består hovedsageligt af klippekerner af uregelmæssige søpindsvin (Galerites og Echinocorys), pigge af almindelige søpindsvin, nogle dele af stængler af crinoider, kantplader af søstjerner og brachiopoder. Også bryozoer, muslinger og koraller forekommer.

In the east of Jutland, Denmark there are some pebblebeaches with reasonable opportunities for discovery. Limestone layers from the lower Danien (part of the Paleogene period) are exposed in these cliffs. You can park in front of Fornaes Fyr, from there it is a short walk to the beach.
Finds mainly consist of the rock cores of irregular sea urchins (Galerites and Echinocorys), spines of regular sea urchins, some parts of stems of crinoids, edge plates of starfish and brachiopods. Also bryozoa, bivalves and corals occur.
