Wooden pulpit in St Peter & St Paul's church, Shorne.
The old 15th century painted rood screen had disappeared by the 18th century, but four panels belonging to it were incorporated in the triple-decker pulpit and pews which were, in turn, demolished at the restoration of the church in 1875. This pulpit dates from that restoration and stands on a stone base of 3 tiers. It consists of 5 oak(?) panels of an octagon with 2 levels of box panelling.
