Tall black marble slab has an engraved picture of war. Left front is a seated soldier. Next to him is his gun, its bayonet stuck in the ground, with his helmet on the butt. Next to the gun is text:

Behind the man are other soldiers and a tank. Further in the background is the ruins of a town, with church spires sticking up.
