Daishimae Station, opened on December 20, 1931, was established as a station on the connecting line between the Tobu Isesaki Line and the Tojo Line.

However, before the proposed connecting line could be developed, operations were suspended due to the intensification of air raids on Tokyo caused by World War II.

After the war, the station began operating again due to the growing faith in Daishi-sama. The station was named, of course, in reference to the Nishiarai Daishi gate.

About 11,000 passengers per day uses this station.
