The St. Francis County Veterans Memorial is in front of the Civic Center in Forrest City. The elaborate white stone memorial bears the names of many who served, as well as the seals of the five Armed Services. Erected in 1950, the memorial began as a WWI / WWII memorial, and later conflicts have been added.

Dedicated by the citizens of St. Francis County to perpetuate the memory of our valiant defenders of freedom who made the supreme sacrifice in World Wars I and II.

Description of Memorial:
The white stone memorial is styled as five vertical monuments, all joined together. The central monument is the tallest and bears a portion of the text above. The four flanking monuments bear the names of those who perished in various conflicts. A tall flagpole behind (that is, to the east of) the memorial flies the U.S. Flag.
