This disaster memorial is dedicated to the flight crew of United 93. It is located at the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel.

On September 11th, 2001, the World Trade Center buildings had already been struck by aircraft when United 93's cockpit was invaded. The pilots of 93 struggled with the hijackers and kept their microphone on, possibly to warn air traffic control. It's also believed that after the hijackers took control, Captain Jason Dahl continued to disrupt the hijacking by turning off the autopilot.

During the hijacking Flight Attendants contacted a United Airlines maintenance facility to warn them of the hijacking. Attendant Sandra Bradshaw informed her husband that she was heating water to throw at the hijackers. The plane was crashed just outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania after passengers (and likely crew) attempted to retake control of the aircraft from the hijackers. It is believed that their target was the US Capitol building.

This memorial pays tribute to the crew of the flight, the black marble monument has the names of the crew and their pictures.
