My Commentary:
This is a two-story, limestone building in the Classic Revival style. The central portion of the main entrance has faux columns flanking each side. This central portion is topped by a pedimented cornice, each elements of this Classic Revival style. The central entryway has double metal and glass doors flanked on each side with a single pane bay window with an etched cross. Small faux columns separate the entry from the bay windows. Above the bay windows and entryway are opaque glass transoms. Above the entry is an entablature that reads: Central Methodist Church. Above the entablature is a glassed-in, stained glass window. On either side of the central portion is a small, square single pane window. The second story features a double-hung window with stone sills and lintels.
In the northwest corner of the building is a cornerstone that reads: Central M.E. Church South 1908.

In other words, Central United Methodist Church loves community service!
