The
Deike Building Plaza at Penn State University's State College, Pennsylvania, campus features a set of three cairns. They are within a raised square planter bed southwest of the Department of Geosciences building along Burrowes Road.
"At this location is a collection of stacked stones, installed when the west entrance to Deike building was renovated in 2007. These stacked stones (also known as cairns or obos (Japanese)) are glacial erratics - small boulders left behind by glaciers – from a quarry near Erie, Pennsylvania."
