"Douglas Lee Love, 77, Jonesburg, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis.

"Doug, a tow motor driver, was born March 17, 1941, in Rockford, Ill., the son of Luther Lee Love and wife LaVada Blanche. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. Doug was a very dedicated and hard- worker. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

"Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Ruby Love, nee Harlan, Jonesburg; mother, LaVada Blanche Love-Robinson; five sons, Jim (Deena Gibson) Love, Jonesburg, Billy Lee (Joanna Lynn) Love, Hardin, Blake Lee Love, Jonesburg, Duane (Janet) Harlan, Jonesburg, and Michael Harlan, Danville; two daughters, Debrah Harlan, Poplar Bluff, and Mary Lou Thelan, Danville; four brothers, Dennis (Becky) Love, Shreveport, La., Earl Love, Kansas state, Danny Love, California state, and Bobby Love, Illinois state; sister, Sharon (Pete) Bastin, Wentzville; four granddaughters, Leslie (Chris), Caitlyn, Cheanna and Cayce; grandson, Coty (Kailee); and five great-grandchildren, Brailyn, Charlie, Josie, Breanna and Tucker Lee.

"He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Lee Love, and brother, Gary Love.

"Visitation was held Tuesday, July 31, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Jonesburg.

"A funeral service was held Wednesday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m., also at the funeral home.

"Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Jonesburg.

"Memorials to the American Heart Association, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.

"The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Jonesburg.: ~ The Missourian, Aug. 2, 2018
