Hourglass inscribed on this late 17th century tombstone in St Michael's church, Musbury.
The stone is located at the west end inside the church, and is late 17th to early 18th century.
The inscription reads -
Near
this place lieth the Body
of Mr Thomas Warren Senr
who was Buried the 9th day of
September Anno Dm~ 1686.
Elizabeth the Wife of the said Thomas
Warren who was Buried the 30th of January
1690.
Mrs Martha Warren the Wife of Mr Thomas
Warren Junr who departed this life the 11 day
of June Anno Dm~ 1715 Ætat Suæ 70
And also Mr Thomas Warren Junr
Husband of the aforesaid Martha who
departed this life the 20th day of
July Anno Dm~ 1716 Ætat
Suæ 69
