This gnome was carved from an tree trunk and stands at the entrance of the Kabouterbos (Gnome Forest) in Alphen aan den Rijn. It looks like a grumpy old gnome, complet with beard and hat. The Kabouterbos is a part of the Zegerpark. In the Kabouterbos are a couple of hundred small sculptures and statues of gnomes and other fairy critters.
