"A water pump interesting because unlike traditional pumps, it has a button mechanism on the top.

Bayard standpipes are fountains made by Bayard. These are curiosities of public places, especially Lyon and Grenoble.

The Bayard company patented the mechanism of the turnstile fountain in 1901 in Lyon.

The pressure of these pipes thus increases the water at the tap.

The distributed water is universally drinkable."
