This six-foot-tall zinc grave marker for Archie Stoddard, his wife Sarah, and his other wife Sarah is one of several white bronze headstones at the Moshassuck Cemetery in Central Falls, Rhode Island. It can be found just north of the midsection of the property in Section C, between North and Central Avenues about two-thirds of the way west towards Pine Avenue. Immediately to the north is a granite headstone for John, Eliza, and Vincent Holt. Other than a slight lean to the north, the piece is in good condition.

The west (front) face displays the Stoddard family name along the bottom of the pillar in a slightly outward sloping section just above the base. Custom panels on each side are rectangular with half round tops. This one reads:

ARCHIE
STODDARD,
BORN IN
CANADA, 1851
DIED 1906.
AGED
55 YEARS.

Three chain links below his name and dates suggest Archie was a member of The Odd Fellows.

The north face:

IN MEMORY OF
SARAH A.,
WIFE OF
ARCHIE
STODDARD,
DIED
MAR. 31,1892
AGE
39 Y'RS 3 MO'S

The south face:

SARAH J.,
WIFE OF
ARCHIE
STODDARD
DIED
MAY 21, 1899
AGE
38 YEARS,
11 MONTHS.

The east face panel features a bas-relief of a person in a full-length robe, kneeling next to and grabbing the upper part of a Christian cross. The year 1893 appears along the bottom of the pillar section in a slightly outward sloping section just above the base as in the surname on the opposite side.
