The Themed Homemade Mailbox is probably made from a trucks fuel tank, and painted metallic silver. The slot for incoming mail represents the typical slot shown of Ned Kelly's metal helmet. Cylindrical pipes are welded as bent arms, and attached under 'shoulder pads' to the tank. A wood stock and 'white-gold-coloured' pipe for the rifle barrel appears to be held between the arms. On the rear (house-side) is a vertically mounted hinged flap, for the removal of the mail. For stability the tanks is supported on three short, square metal tubes.
