The Plaza consists of two major elements, a Veteran’s Monument and a Memorial Wall. The symbolic black granite central monument has the U.S. flag, in tribute to all military veterans who have served their Country. The Michigan flag, Wayne County flag and City of Livonia flag will also fly in the plaza area, in honor of all who have served. The Memorial Wall is inscribed with the names of all men and women who were Livonia citizens when killed or wounded, taken as prisoners of war, or declared missing in action in any war or conflict since the founding of Livonia in 1835.
