[FIN] Nimensä mukaisesti hiihtokeskus on todellisuudessa tarkoitettu lähinnä laskettelu-urheilua varten. Hirvensalon rinteessä on useampi eritasoinen laskettelurinne. Hiihtohisseillä pääsee maksua vastaan rinteen huipulle. Sieltä onkin hyvät maisemat saaristoon ja kaupunkiin. Huipulla kannattaa käydä kesäisinkin.
Jo vuonna 1964 perustettu laskettelupaikka on suosittu hiihtokeskus talviurheilun harrastajille. Hiihtokeskusta ylläpitää Turun Slalomseura r.y. Hiihtokeskuksen vieressä sijaitsevaa pulkkamäkeä hoitaa Turun kaupunki. Hissejä Hirvensalossa on kolme. Pisin rinteistä on 300 m ja suurin korkeusero 60 m.
[EN] As the name implies, the ski resort is actually intended primarily for downhill sports. The Hirvensalo slope has several ski slopes of different levels. The ski lifts take you to the top of the slope for a fee. There are good views of the archipelago and the city. The top is worth a visit even in summer. Already established in 1964, the ski area is a popular ski resort for winter sports enthusiasts. The ski resort is maintained by Turku Slalomseura r.y. The sledding hill next to the ski resort is run by the city of Turku. There are three skilifts in Hirvensalo. The longest of the slopes is 300 m and the maximum height difference is 60 m.
