Van bron Schaijkenaren keken vreemd op toen er in oktober 2020 ineens een levensgrote, appeltjesgroene S in het dorp stond. Het zorgde precies voor de reuring waar de mensen achter stichting Natuurlijk Schaijk op hoopten.

De oorsprong van de stichting ligt in 2017, toen de werktitel nog 'Toekomst van Schaijk' luidde. Van Boekel: ,,Zo’n zestig dorpsbewoners wilden zich er hard voor maken dat Schaijk leuk is én leuk blijft. Daar is Natuurlijk Schaijk uit ontstaan."
