The store is about average in size, with two tables down the center and some nice padded chairs along the windows. There are some comfy chairs up front, and lots of outdoor seating, some covered, some partially covered. If you're looking to plug in your gadgets, there are plenty of places, but you have to have sharp eyes to catch the outlets in the black power trip along the windows. The signal is a little slower than typical for Starbucks, but nothing you're likely to notice.

While Mexia is a city of over 7000 people, this is "small town Texas." This Starbucks probably exists for travelers along US 84, where, if you want your fix, you're going to have to wait until you get to Corsicana or Huntsville, many miles away. Be sure to take advantage of the local flavor and pick up some Jim's Krispy Fried Chicken if you're passing through.
