Buffalo National River celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2002. Bounded by towering bluffs and winding through the Ozark Plateau of northern Arkansas, the Buffalo is a prime example of free-flowing, unpolluted water. It is visited by those seeking solitude, water-based recreation and hiking adventures.
