Ghost sign for Taverner's Dairy, later replaced by Holwill's, on the side of a building on St David's Hill, Exeter. A colourful palimpsest for two former dairies. These were outlets for the milk produced at Taverner's Farm and Holwill's Farm. The former is located in Kennford, a few kilometres to the south west of Exeter, the latter in Torrington, much further north.
