De Sint-Bonaventurakerk is een katholieke ker die gebouwd is in het jaar 1892. De kerk staat naast het Kasteel en is aangemerkt als rijksmonument. De toren is maar liefst 77,2 meter hoog en staat daarmee op de 31e plaats van de lijst met hoogste kerktorens in Nederland. Het ontwerp van de kerk komt van architect Nicolaas Molenaar sr. en dit is gelijk een van zijn belangrijkste werken.
Deze kerk is een kruisbasiliek in neogotische stijl, gebaseerd op de vroege Franse gotiek en hij wordt bekroond met een scherpe naaldspits met klankeren torentjes. Deze domineert gelijk het verre proefiel van Woerden.
In de kerk bevindt zich een orgel, gebouwd door Jos Vermeulen, en deze is sinds 1921 in gebruik.

The Saint Bonaventure Church is a Catholic church that was built in 1892. The church is located next to the Castle and is classified as a national monument. The tower is no less than 77.2 meters high and is therefore in 31st place on the list of tallest church towers in the Netherlands. The design of the church comes from architect Nicolaas Molenaar Sr. and this is one of his most important works.
This church is a neo-Gothic cruciform basilica, based on early French Gothic, and is topped by a sharp spire with chiming turrets. This immediately dominates the distant sample of Woerden.
In the church there is an organ, built by Jos Vermeulen, which has been in use since 1921.
