This fascinating place can be visited from Guanajuato. There is a bus passing nearby but perhaps an Uber ride will offer an easier way to get there.


The gardens are used to host events and in some specific dates the museum is closed to visitors because of this.

By then the gardens were mostly redone and the main house was renovated. The visitor can walk through most of the rooms... bedrooms, living rooms, dining room and even the family's chapel. All is furnished and decorated just like it was back in the 19th century.
