This christian cross is on the shouth gate of the Castro Fortress.
It is a column on a pedestal, and two steps.
Before the cross it has a capital with four faces on the sides that resemble angels.
On the cross is on one side a crucified Christ in the most pure medieval style and on the opposite side is piety crying.
On the pedestal is the figure of Santiago, to remind us that parallel to the Castro area passes the Camino de Santiago Portugues, in its stage Redondela-Tui
It is made of pure Galician granite, like almost all those from Galicia
