An advertising column is installed in the middle of the sidewalk on the south side of the Summer Street between High and Purchase Streets in Boston, Massachusetts. Columns like this can be found around the city.

Its black framework has bright metal trim and a flat top. The 15 foot tall, non-cylindrical display is composed of three convex faces about 4 feet wide. Vertical plexiglass windows take up the majority of each side. Two faces contain advertisements and the other a map of Boston and a photo of the city skyline. It is branded JCDecaux, a French advertising company, and numbered "84".
